1001 / 12. Mai 2024
Um bei dem Bild 1001 einhalten zu können, habe ich eine Ausstellung geplant. Das Bild war rechtzeitig da, in der Zeit der Vorbereitung (z.B Auswahl aus 1001 Bildern, Ideen für die Präsentation entwickeln und praktisch vorbereiten) habe ich nicht gemalt. Wegen der Unsicherheit wie das alles werden wird, und wegen der Lage des Raums habe ich nicht öffentlich plakatiert. Nun danke ich den Eingeladenen, die zahlreich kamen und gebe euch unten meinen Bericht.
In order to be able to have a pause with picture 1001, I planned to have an exhibition. The image emerged in time, and left time for the preparation. I did not paint then, I chose about 200 images from the 1001 and worked out the practical arrangements. Not knowing how it all would work out, and because of the location of the room, I did not make the exhibition a public event. Now I am grateful for those who came.

1001 Augenblicke / 1001 Moments…
… came and went – kamen und gingen!
Es war ein sehr schönes Erlebnis, die Bilder im Raum zu sehen und die Atmosphäre zu erleben, die dadurch entsteht! Ich habe mit der Hilfe einer Freundin etwa 200 Bilder angebracht – und mit Hilfe von 2 Freundinnen am Sonntagabend alles wieder abgebaut. Dies kam mir vor wie ein ‚musikalisches‘ Geschehen – eine kurze Zeit ist es ‚da‘, dann verschwindet es wieder. Wie der Klang eines Orchesters. Das scheint mir stimmig. Und auch wiederholbar!
It was a beautiful experience to see the pictures in space, and to experience the atmosphere that they create. With the help of friend, I put up about 200 pictures – and with 2 friends we packed everything up again on Sunday evening.
This seemed to me a ‚musical‘ quality… – it is ‚there‘ for a short time… and then it’s gone… like the sound of an orchestra. It seems appropriate. And possible to repeat!
